Expect to hear plenty of 60s garage, RnR, beat, psych, RnB and soul that you can slip, slide, jerk, flip, flop, watusi, stroll, bump, grind and, most importantly, DANCE TO!

This is your 4-week countdown to the next party 🥳 Anna and Holly will be back behind the decks serving up the finest 60s garage, RnR, psych and R&B vinyl records from 9pm till 3am. Ticket 🔗 in profile, £5 advance, £6 on the door 💃🕺We've very slightly increased our price due to rising costs and we want to make sure we can pay everyone fairly. It would be a massive help if you bought tickets in advance as this helps reassure us we can cover some initial fees before the big night. Your help is very much appreciated 💋

A wonderful celebration of our Anna’s birthday, alongside some other Dance Party regulars also celebrating big birthdays! 🥳💜 and special thanks to our incredible guest dj Bambi Rossi who pushed through feeling unwell and played storming sets 🔥

Records are packed and ready to go for a big one tonight! 🥳 I've dug out some tough garage tracks to compliment Holly and Bambi's collections and this one is a snotty little cut. Released in 1965 The Bostweeds are the same band that played the theme for the notorious Russ Meyers exploitation b-movie Faster...Pussycat Kill! Kill! But I think we can all agree Little Bad News is far superior 💓

We’re very excited to have a rare guest joining us the club this month, and what a guest this is! Bambi Rossi hails from Rome, and is now a resident of London. This most stylish lady displays her taste not only through fashion, but a killer selection of records! A wonderful DJ, I (Holly) was first a fan and then a friend. We are both very excited to share the decks all together for the first time. Expect pounding garage with a psychedelic flavour, and some hints of R&B. Whatever the genre, it’s gonna be great, that we promise 🔥

We’re super excited for the next edition of the Dance Party, on 14th March at . We have our very special guest joining us on the decks! We’ll be introducing her very soon 🇮🇹❤️

Meanwhile here’s a fairly new acquisition of mine, Wild Illusion from 1968. As the name says, a truly wild sound from this Texas garage band, Ninth Street Bridge. The Texans always do it best! You may have heard this monster during my sets over the past wee while, it’s a real fave at the moment - I’m always excited to play it out loud. I hope you love it as much as I do 💥💥💥💥

Our next club is a very special edition, happening on Sat 14th March at . Not only are we celebrating Anna’s BIG BIRTHDAY but we have a VIP guest DJ, the one and only Bambi Rossi.

This wonderful woman is an incredible DJ and one of our very favourite people. Hailing from Rome, now based in London, Bambi plays an exciting mix of psychedelic and garage records, with some soulful sounds mixed in. She has played all across Europe at top clubs, and we’re delighted to have her join us for this special night 💜🧡💜

We’re still reeling from this month’s party, absolutely no January blues to be seen here! We love it so much that what should be the toughest night of the year is consistently the best! Huge thanks to everyone who showed up and lit that dancefloor on fire from the very first record 🔥💃🏻

We’ll be back in the ‘Shack on March 14th, a special night celebrating ’s big birthday and we might just have a little something up our sleeves for it. 🥳

It's absolutely baltic in Glasgow at the moment but I'm packing some classics to keep the dancefloor HOTT on Saturday. This record has been in my collection for many years and I won't ever tire of it. Every time I listen to the opening few seconds it awakens something inside of me ❤️‍🔥 like all my favourite singers, Otis Rush started out in a gospel choir before becoming known a killer blues guitarist. Released in 1958 this song and artist went on to influence several British guitarists attempting to replicate the Chicago sound, and although it was through the likes of Peter Green that I got into this music, I firmly believe that NO ONE compares to the originals. After the weird limbo period has ended and real life has fallen back into place, we all need something to look forward to. So come and dance your January blues away with us at on Sat 10th January, it’s usually our favourite party of the year, so please come down and keep that tradition alive with us 💙
