⭐️🚂 FREE EVENT FOR KIDS NEXT SUNDAY ⭐️🚂

The Glasgow Subway family day is back next Sunday to round off the Easter Holidays 🐥 You can hop on and off the subway and take part in activities at various stations around the city 🐰And you might even see the Easter bunny, who is still giving out eggs ! 🍫🥚

The line up is bigger and better than last year, we have more dancers, more magic, more music and an iconic guest who is making a rare appearance for all the mums and dads and maybe grannies and grandpas too 🤖

Check back here tomorrow for the full line up and the break down of what’s happening at each station. Kids go free during the holidays so only adults will need a ticket to ride the train. Why not make a day of it and visit some other destinations near subway stations too? 🧡

Hope you’ve all had a good Easter weekend! 🐰🍫 One month today, on the next bank holiday, we will be partying in the Big Top for May Day Manoeuvres 🎪 We are super excited to welcome DJ Michael Kilkie to play at Mini Manoeuvres for the first time 💥 is a Glasgow music legend, and we wanted him to play for such a long time, we’re delighted it’s finally happening on Monday 4th of May.

Michael Kilkie is one of Scotland’s most enduring and influential DJs, a defining figure of the nation’s club culture for over three decades. Rising through Glasgow’s legendary ’90s scene, Kilkie became known for his electrifying sets, technical precision, and instinctive ability to move a crowd. His career began at the famed 23rd Precinct record shop before evolving into a global DJ journey.

He has held some of Scotland’s most iconic and era-defining residencies, including The Tunnel, The Arches, The Sub Club, and The Rhumba Club—venues that shaped a generation of club-goers. His international reputation has taken him from Ibiza to Hong Kong, the USA to Jamaica, performing at world renowned institutions such as Cream, Gatecrasher, Ministry of Sound, and Privilege, and sharing stages with pioneers including Pete Tong, Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Sasha, and Carl Cox, 808 State and Inner City and The Prodigy to name a few.

A seasoned performer, trusted tastemaker, and creative curator, Michaelremains at the forefront of Scottish nightlife—evolving with the times and creating unforgettable musical moments while staying true to the energy, personality, and musical joy that have defined his career. The family May Day party of the year is back! On Monday 4th May, Mini Manoeuvres and Melting Pot are teaming up once again to bring you an epic party for the whole family!!🧸🪩🔊

This year’s headliners are the wonderful K-Pop Theatre Live Tribute Show. Fresh from selling out venues across the UK, the 6-piece band will be performing the big hits that have made K-Pop a worldwide phenomenon.🇰🇷🎤

Supporting them we have the ultimate fun family party with The Funhouse, presented by Gerry Lyons and Marky Mark – mass sing-alongs, party games, prizes and much more.☀️🏞️

We’ll also have an arts and crafts station, hair braiding, glitter face painting, balloon modelling and for the little ones joining there will be a small soft play. Kids can also learn how to use keyboards, drum machines and Synthesizers at the Rubabdub Records Synth Station.🎶✨

We’re not forgetting the mums and dads either – there will be a fully licensed bar, street food, coffee wagons, ice cream, and a DJ set from the legend that is Michael Kilkie, playing club classics and 80s/90s favourites from the Tunnel and Electric Dreams era.🕺💞
