Ever wanted to play at a traditional folk session and wondered how to get started?

Come to the Silk Mill, Frome at 3pm on Sat 12 July and find out. We'll discuss session etiquette and learn some simple tunes that are often played.

Admission is by ticket to the Frome Festival Celtic and Transatlantic Day, which is only £8 for 10 hours of live folk music:

1-2pm: Bluegrass Bwanas
2-3pm: Incognito
3-4pm: Workshop for session tunes (all ages)
4-6pm: Open session
6-7pm: Ceildh with the Steppin' Tones
7--8:45pm: Meeting At Crossroads
9-10:45pm: Crossing The Rockies

CRAWFISH CREEK are delighted to be playing at the American Sea Food Broil on Sat 3 Aug :-)

Come along to The White Hart Inn, Trudoxhill to eat traditionally cooked crawfish or Sam's BBQ and see Kate Lissauer (fiddle, Buffalo Gals) with Steve Gurr and Keith Harrison-Broninski (mandolin and English concertina, Crossing The Rockies) play an exciting mix of songs and tunes from the oldtime and bluegrass traditions!
