It’s been a little quiet recently, but as summer begins things start to get busier for Data Disco.
Saturday I had the pleasure of compèring the entire day at the Somerset Day, Spring Shindig & Grand Opening of Maidenbrook Country Park Nr Taunton.
There was many events going on during the day including a dog show & 3 performances on stage for me to introduce. The first band was The Britones, pronounced Brit tones, a bunch of young lads who I’m sure if they stick to it will go far. 2nd was Chrystal Bliss, I have had the pleasure of working with her before at this venue. Previously she sang 1940’s songs at the VE Day celebrations last year, this time songs from various decades. She has a fantastic voice, so so good. The 3rd band & in a photo here was The Bird Dogs, wow they were brilliant too, superb playlist with many well known popular party songs, they certainly had the crowd in their hands! The day was rounded off with a beacon lighting followed by fireworks to music by Sonic Fireworks. A long 8 hr day, but really great fun!
