📣 COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
New year, new committee, same NUTS energy ⚡️ 🥜
It’s that time of year again that we announce our new committee members for 2026/27. Some faces you may recognise from the previous year and we also have some new people joining us!
Meet the team that will be helping make this year bigger and better than ever before. From planning events to supporting our DJs, this team will be working hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly (hopefully)

Rudi Montgomery (RuDi)
4th Year Business with Marketing student, DJ, and 4-year NUTS Committee veteran. This will be my second year as President, so I’m clearly doing something right… or they just haven’t found anyone else yet.
After four years on committee, I’m looking forward to another year of great events, good music and plenty of NUTS memories. Hopefully we can make this year the best one yet — and keep everything running smoothly along the way.
Looking forward to working with everyone and seeing what we can get up to this year.

Douglas Norton (OFFGRID)
The vertically challenged half of Halfcut, OFFGRID is back. This year his wee legs are taking the big step up to Vice President.
A 4th year Sport & Exercise Science student, and the less lazy boss of Douglas Norton. This handsome chap has a diverse sound suitable of rocking the room on any occasion.
He may also have mentioned once or twice that he’s learning vinyl, something we hopefully don’t get the chance to ever hear.
Cara Hegarty
Cara takes on the role of Social Media Manager this year as you can always catch her with a ring light and her camera out.
Cara is a 3rd year Psychology student who has been with NUTS since her first year at uni. You may have seen this face over the past few months as she’s been gaining quite the reputation in the music scene for her house and dance classic song selections.
We’re putting our trust in her for our socials, hoping she won’t whip out any tiktok dances
