Welcome to the Edinburgh Napier University Techno Society FB page. The society has been founded just this year and we are here to unite all techno fans at Napier. Whether you are seeking the best nightlife and social scene for your time in Edinburgh, or you simply love techno, then we invite you to join us for this year. This society specialises in techno and other electro music events, which incl

udes gigs and raves in the underground scene. As a member, you will also have exclusive access to our parties and you'll be receiving discounted entry to the main techno venues in Edinburgh. We also plan to organise our own gigs in Edinburgh later in the year! Above all, this society will function as a great social platform for you as our members. Joining us means you will meet new people, keep up to date with what's happening in Edinburgh and have a whole lot of fun! You may also use the group to invite fellow members to your own events/nights out. We have big plans for this year, so join us for some unforgettable memories!

DoGood & CalDawg

For our 2 young guns opening up the night we have Jimmy DoGood (formally known as Bonnie Groove), he has been producing tracks since the age of 13 and has amounted to over 7 Million plays across multiple tracks, being only 18 years old this is extremely impressive. He is also no stranger to performing in front of a crowd, having played regularly across Scotland over the past year or so.

Our final DJ of the night is CalDawg420, also being one of our younger residents, Callum has shown huge potential over the past few months from his high energy attitude and love towards the music scene, he has also accumulated millions of views over his various social media accounts.

This night is not to be missed!

TRUCHA :

Next up on the lineup we have Trucha, this man is a wizard behind the decks. Known across the capital for his club night ‘totem’ and his skills on a set of technics, be prepared for a vinyl set filled with underground house and disco tracks🕺

We’ve had an eye on him for a while and thought this event is the perfect time for his NUTS debut. Some notable events from Trucha would be his set at FLY Halloween Spooktacular 2025, his support set for Luke Alessi a couple months ago and also his support set for Club Nachts Etienne De Crecy event at the Bongo Club.

To kick off the summer nicely we have invited 2 of our newest resident DJs to come together and host their very own event within NUTS, for this event they have picked out some of the biggest names in the Edinburgh scene to headline the evening😃

Our headlines for the night are both at the top off their game in their different genres as has just come off the back of an unreal performance at the lab stage at the Terminal V festival just past and is mainly a house dj/producer who’s had support from huge producers across the world such as Gaskin and Josh Baker.
909 specialises in underground techno and house, he is a master behind the decks. You might catch trucha playing a vinyl only set at his club night “totem” in the capital.

Our 2 DJs opening the night are and , both these boys have racked up numbers across different social media/streaming platforms as CalDawg has become somewhat of a legend in the local area from his social media posts and Jimmy DoGood has racked up around 7 Million plays across music streaming platforms from his variety of tunes he’s produced since he started producing 6 years ago!

CRT X NUTS : LORCAN KELLY - BAR LINEUP (09/05/26)

As well as having two of the NUTS boys on main room opener, we also have a NUTS takeover in the bar from some of our finest selectors🧡

On first we have for his debut set, you may have seen this guy over social media or heard of him from his event coming up on the 28th of this month at the People’s Leisure Club!

On next we have nuts presi , Rudi can play anything Disco/House so be prepared for a set of some gold loot level unknown tracks mixed with some house/disco classics.

For our next set is , Miss Molly Muggoch is a star behind the decks, be prepared for an energetic set from her as she plays her final set as a NUTS resident 😢

Finally, on to close the bar for the night is . You probably recognise the face, as Cara has become quite a regular across cowgate this past year, playing over all clubs you could think of. This set is not to be missed.

We are now only 3 days out from our collaborative event at the with the boys over at

We are bringing Irish up and coming sensation to the capital for his Edinburgh debut 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️. You might’ve heard of Lorcan from some of his many releases. Most notably his recent release “Feel Good” with Scottish duo “Vivace” or his tune “Love U Seek” created by himself and Kule and was recently played at the pyramids of Giza by none other than the legend Tiesto!

For support on the main room we have local legends CLEAR and Tookast who have been tearing up the Scottish scene with huge sets and a huge selection of tracks ranging from multiple genres.

And just like that, another academic year has just about come to an end😢

This month we have,

09/05/26- CRT x NUTS Presents Lorcan Kelly this is gonna be huge, we have a stacked lineup with Clear and Tookast warming up the main room and nuts residents on for a funky one in the Mash House bar🪩

20/05/26- Edinburgh Arrows, NUTS have our own duo competing at the Edinburgh arrows charity darts show. Expect to see the NUTS troops out in full force!

28/05/26- DoGooD x CalDawg selects @ People’s Leisure Club + Day-Party TBC, For our final party of the academic year we have decided to give the reigns to two of our first year DJs who have curated an excellent lineup of some of the capitals biggest DJ, more details on this event will be put on separate post at the end of the week😃

Final thing thanks everyone for signing up this year we have absolutely smashed it, we will still be running one or two events over summer but once September comes we’ll be bringing a new committee to welcome the year.
