Completing our line up for Q***r as Punk’s Edinburgh Pride unofficial alt afterparty we have q***r screamo from Faking Pretty! Faking Pretty are a female fronted q***r diy emo band from across the central belt. Rooted in DIY from the very beginning; playing a show in a livingroom, recording a demo in a bathroom. The band cherishes community in DIY, bringing its ethos across with us to London. Taking influence from 2nd wave emo, hardcore and mathcore, the band speaks on issues from losing friends, drug abuse, complicated q***r relationships and disabilities such as diabetes.

Restless Taxis is a DIY q***r and POC-led band formed in East London in 2019. The band has maintained a DIY ethos, pioneering a blend of 90s rock with rave culture through their first DIY event, restless basslines, which took place in Edgware Road underpass on 1st Apr. 2023.
