Wassails
Ever wondered what it would sound like if Paul McCartney and Mark Knopfler got really into Arab Strap? Your sleepless nights are over, my friend. An alt-rock band that thinks it’s a post-rock band.

Next week is your autumn edition of Q***r as Punk! Headlined by local noise merchants Friday 11 September at Leith Depot. Ticket link in bio 🌈🎫

Vexations
Sharing a name with Satie’s piano piece that was banned because it was deemed too unsettling, Vexations create frenetic and off-kilter post-psych, with dissonant layered guitars, unorthodox song structures, and vocals that oscillate between spoken word and emphatic screams, to give a punchy yet unearthly sonic experience.

New gig announcement! This December we have Problem Patterns and Pink Pound coming at you at The Wee Red Bar! Tickets available now from link in bio 🎫

Problem Patterns
Your favourite weird irish slop rock / punk band are going nowhere. Continuing to take their iconic brand of fun & chaotic live sets all over the world in 2026. While also touring their latest EP release ‘Boring Songs for Boring People’ which is out on Alcopop right now. Coming to a town near you, probably.

Pink Pound is the demi-drag stage persona of Andrew Milk (Current Affairs, Shopping) summoned for solo performance work and as an electronic music project. Milk creates a kaleidoscopic landscape of fist pumping Hi-NRG gay disco and introspective bedroom pop that explores identity, power dynamics and joyful connection found within q***r spaces both physical and intangible. The music was best described by a fan recently as “The Yassification of New Order”💅.
In August 2022 the debut album ‘Cottage Industry’ came out via American record label Cruisin’ Records- Milk’s first full length release as a solo artist.
