After closing down in January 2020, Jimmy Allens was re opened by married couple DJ Dave B and his wife who has become known as Mrs DJ Dave B. Previously a prison dating back to the early 1600's, Jimmy Allens derives it's name from the most notorious character to be incarcerated during it's history. In 1810 Jimmy the Gypsy Piper died within our walls, a pardon for his crimes arriving days later. W

hilst Jimmy could only dream of escape to a nearby alehouse, nowadays people flock in droves to our world famous bar, with hopes of hearing his ghostly pipes!
