We have let our quiz nights lapse for a couple of years due to other commitments meaning we haven't had the time needed to dedicate to quiz nights.

HOWEVER, after covering for a good friend a couple of weeks ago and having a bit more time free, we are up and running again and have availability for 1 (or 2) regular midweek nights.

Our quizzes are speedquizzes where you use your smartphone or tablet - do not get confused with the more boring pen and paper quizzes.

Shadforth Plough – March Speedquiz Results Well, the first month of Speequizzing has passed us at the Shadforth Plough. Great to see word getting around and the feedback within the room has been amazing – yes, not everything was 100% appealing to everyone but as the weeks pass I am able to bespoke things a little more to suit. As well as a £50 meal voucher for the winner we also have a monthly prize up for grabs at the Shadforth Plough Speedquiz nights.

Every Tuesday 8.30pm

For the final week in the month things will be a little different – plenty of points will be available (more than usual) BUT there will also be points deducted from teams who answer incorrectly or fail to answer.

Those scoring high may slip up and actually end up with a negative score – you never know !

Going forward we need more support to ensure the weekly quiz continues in its current format, everyone who has attended seems to have had a great night, so PLEASE spread the word – invite family, friends, neighbours – let’s make this a night the village talks about.

Round 3 – Fastest Finger First
Round 4 – General Knowledge

Followed by a ‘Play Your Cards Right’ cash accumulator
