The Robert Henryson Society and Dunfermline Heritage Community Projects are proud to announce the launch of Henryson's Shorter Poems, with English verse translations by Kirkcaldy educator and poet Barbara Rasmusen at 2 pm on Saturday 21 May in Carnegie Hall Music Institute.
Come along to hear readings from the Middle Scots texts, to enjoy some music and nibbles, and perhaps to buy a copy or two.

Dunfermline Heritage Community Projects has taken over the organisation of the Dunfermline Book Fair previously run by Lilian King. This year's event will be held in the Carnegie Hall Music Institute on Saturday 21 May, from 10 am to 5 pm, and will feature displays by local writers and publishers. Come along and check out a wide range of new and secondhand books - fiction, fantasy, poetry, crime, history, classics, art, children's, pop-up - and decorative prints, magazines, ephemera, you name ...

Well, it's nearly here! The Festival of Dunfermline will be in Dunfermline Glen tomorrow (Saturday 12) and Sunday, and Colin Donati and Morna Fleming will be there to raise the flag for Robert Henryson in the cabaret tent (!) from 12.15 pm to 1.00 pm. Hope to see you there :)

The Robert Henryson Society website exists to give an online presence to the Society and to the poet whom we admire. It contains details of the activities of the Society and links to other sites of interest and relevance.

Would you like to be involved in a dramatized reading of Henryson's Fables as part of the Festival of Dunfermline 11-13 September? We shall have a marquee in the garden of Abbot House where we can show festival-goers what they are missing - all we need are willing readers/actors.
