So this time last year, I was getting ready for my 168th gig of the year ..... this year I've done 54 gigs (33 before first lockdown)
And although the amount is much fewer, I enjoyed each and everyone of them, especially the effort that venues put into accommodating live music with the guidelines.

Thank you to Blacksmiths Lounge (I had my busiest gig of the year in Feb), and all it's open mic-ers, I miss you all every Sunday.
The Boot who had me on earlier in the year, and it's patrons who booked me for Valentine & Will’s.
A spontaneous last min change got me doing a very upbeat midweek gig with Paul Tabor Music at the The White Bear - Steamin' Billy
The pre-lockdown weekend saw me at The Fishpond (first time, great venue and crowd), Brewhouse & Kitchen (amazing venue, packed out, thoroughly enjoyable) and I got to perform with the fantastically talented Belle and The Boots!

Since June I've had the pleasure of gigging at Yeaveley Arms a few times (thank you Rob), the Red Lion Barton, Spondon Liberal Club, getting to do 2 weddings (both different, both brilliant) and some original gigs at Dubrek Studios!

A huge shout out also to the boys in No Setting Sun and Hungry Vultures, I miss practising and joking around with you all!

I've not put everything down as this would turn into a novel, but I'm grateful for what I've had this year, and hope next year turns around for the best for everyone!

I wonder what I'll be writing about next year!

Following Boris Johnson’s announcement last night - We are officially allowed to re-open from the 4th July.

We will be putting the guidelines necessary in place to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe whilst enjoying their cocktails 🙌🏽
