Great music is essential to creating the perfect atmosphere and central to the Bar 1620 experience, we take it very seriously, with regular house DJs, live music, funk, jazz and an eclectic mix. You’ll be absolutely mesmerised by our mirror balls and for some reason they always make you want to move your feet…. well maybe just a little!

We also have a late serving license so we can make your perfect night even longer, as we are able to open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Our Saturday Night headline act this evening is the incredibly talented Rhythm and Blues Guitarist Vince Lee, who will be joined by his Big Combo Band on the 1620 Main Stage to entertain you from 8pm

Our Waterfront Terrace and Air-Conditioned Cocktail Lounge are poised for another busy day serving you the finest Cocktails, a huge range of ice-cold Beers and unique Ciders, plus some very fine Wines & Spirits…

Our musical Entertainment programme kicks off at 4pm with local hero Alfie Romeo and his big Combo setting the scene for a Rhythm & Blues extravaganza on the 1620 Main Stage

Gloucestershire Blues Guitar maestro - Rich Dickinson will be joining Alfie and the Band to literally mesmerise us with his brilliantly technical performance this afternoon - positively not to be missed

We can do Disco any day of the week, this is real fun live music with some very talented musicians, definitely not your average Pub Band!
The boys will finish at 7pm

Following Alfie we segue in to this evening’s entertainment at 8pm with another super talented performance from one of our favourites - we have the very popular Martin Dale Jazz Quartet playing some great Sax-Jazz for us - very cool Ronnie Scott’s vibe!

Ed Jones (AKA as the famous Elton John Tribute Act) will grace the Bar 1620 Main Stage with his Pearlescent White Baby Grand Piano this evening

This extremely popular act will undoubtedly blow our doors off again with his pop, rock, glam rock, and on-point Elton John classic piano ballads
