Just to clarify, though Forum Whalley is gone the business is continuing as Vault Bar & Kitchen. We have tried to make it a seamless transition to the new owners, though we felt there hasn’t been enough clear communication from them about the changes. This has meant lots of confusion, especially with bookings, so we had to clarify the situation by making it clear that Forum Whalley is no more but is now Vault Bar & Kitchen, we wish them good luck and we are sure they will continue the great service we have provided our customers for the last ten years.

As you may or may not have heard, Forum Whalley will be closing its doors for the very last time this week. The building will take new ownership from next week as the Forum brand has stopped trading from Whalley.

We wish the new owners the best of luck with their new business. In response to customer messages, this is not a rebrand and Forum will now only operate from our original site at . We will miss you no doubt, but look forward to seeing you in Preston for a catch up.

Please do not use the Forum website to book as this will book you a table in Forum (Preston) and we are unable to transfer bookings from tomorrow as we are not the same business any longer.

We would like to thank all of our customers for the support and also a big thanks to all of the team over the years who have worked extremely hard to make Forum Whalley the success that it was.

It’s been an incredible journey and one that we feel is the right time to come to an end.

Don’t worry, if you still need that Forum fix, you can find us in Preston just off of the beautiful Georgian Winckley Square on Winckley Street where you may see a familiar face! 👀 You can stay up to date over at and join us this year to celebrate 20 years of Forum! 🎉

A genuine, heart-felt thanks once more to all of our wonderful customers, supporters and family. We hope that you all keep supporting the other great independents in the local area.

As the festive season is in full swing now Forum is open all day every day from today until January (except for Christmas Day and New Years Day) bringing you festive decorations (classy ones…), festive music (no cheesey ones….) and even festive cocktails and mulled wine.
