After 10 years of incredible memories, it is with a very heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to The Limehouse.
This has not been an easy decision, and we want to be honest with you all. We fought tooth and nail to keep the doors open. We put forward a new lease and did everything we could to secure the future of this place, but we ultimately ran into barriers that we simply could not get past. The lease offer we made was taken off the table, and that has left us with no road forward.
But what a ten years it has been. We have been lucky enough to be part of so many of life's biggest moments. Weddings, christenings, 18ths, 40ths, retirements, and every celebration in between. This place has held a lot of joy, and we are incredibly proud of that.
To every single one of you who has walked through our doors, whether you popped in for just one pint, sat down for a meal, knocked back a glass of white wine or two, joined us week in week out for cocktails, or simply had a fantastic time somewhere along the way, thank you. And yes, even to the odd couple who perhaps did not have the experience they hoped for, you are more than welcome back for one last visit. We mean that.
Your loyalty over the past decade has meant everything to us.
We will be open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night, and we would love to see as many of you as possible one last time. Come and help us drink the place dry. It feels like the right way to go out.
