Salsa classes and Latin dance night
Learn Cuban Salsa lessons every Wednesday with Lee and Rachael. Lessons are provided for all levels of ability, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. You don't need a partner - you'll change partners all the time in a friendly, fun group. Currently 7pm Entry Beginners 7.15pm and 8.30pm improver/Inter Live Chester.

duce you to salsa music, teach the basic footwork steps and let you take your first steps dancing with a partner. (No partner is required)
- Improver classes build up your repertoire of fundamental partner work sequences.
- Intermediate classes build up more advanced partner work and solo patterns, and help develop body movement and musicality.
9.30 pm till 11/11.30pm: Dance into the night with a mix that includes Salsa, Timba, Bachata, Regaetton, Merengue, Latin pop, Kizomba and more.
*Classes are just £8 for per class per person or £13 for two classes per person (on the same night)
*Entry to social dancing after 9.30 is Free

**Lee started salsa 18 years ago at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester – the club he now runs each Wednesday with his LATINMania! His passion for the root dances of Cuban style – especially rumba, son and Afrocuban – has led him to learn dance and percussion from leading teachers and performers in the UK and beyond, and this Spring he will make his fourth study trip to Cuba. host the popular monthly Saturday night at Connah’s Quay. Wherever he teaches, he brings the same energy, authenticity, musicality and fun. As a DJ, Lee plays a fresh mix of salsa, timba, bachata and kizomba and more, featuring the most exciting new music around.
**Rachael started dancing at the age of 2 competing in local dance festivals across the Northwest and Wales; where she won the title of Welsh National Ballet champion. At the age of 11 Rachael joined The Royal Ballet Lower School in London, and attended The Royal Ballet and English National Ballet's summer and Easter courses, continuing to the The Royal Ballet's Upper School at the age of 16. During this time Rachael performed with The Royal Ballet at the Sadler's Wells Theatre and The Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Her repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Gisselle, and many gala's. Rachael also worked and performed with The English National Ballet in a production of Sleeping Beauty at The Royal Albert Hall London. Rachael began Salsa 18 years ago, and has taught at several Chester venues including, The Groves, and D'Meltin Pot, and Cruise Nightclub, before joining her LATINMania! Partner Lee to run their popular Wednesday night at Telfords Warehouse Chester now in their new home at Alexander’s. Her passion for dance continues to grow, as she develops her style and technique with leading UK and International Artists in mainly Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Son and Afrocuban, and most summers attends the Croatian Salsa Festival taking a group of her students. host the popular monthly Saturday night at Connah’s Quay Civic Centre. Private classes are available to book; Rachael thrives in this scenario as she is able to provide more attention to the finer details of the techniques required. Rachael's passion for dance, discipline and energy, shines through in her teaching and its this love of dance that she wants to continue to share.
