BolierMaker-Shot

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! We hope you are keeping well and safe, during this month of September. Hopefully, some more drier weather on the way!

Our take on this week's cocktail, it's called the BolierMaker Shot. The origin or history of how this cocktail started is it was a working man's drink for over a century. As the legend goes the tradesmen who fabricated iron boilers for steamships and steam trains would cap off a shift, with a beer and a shot of whiskey in there local bars.

How to make the above shot, you will need the following ingredients/equipment.

50ml Irish Whiskey
Bottle of beer/ale
Pint and a Shot Glass (or something similar from your cupboard)
Chopping board and knife

This is a fairly straightforward drink to make but also very easy to drink too.

To make this cocktail, you will need to follow these simple steps:

Pour 50ml Irish Whiskey into a shot glass. Pour half the beer into the pint glass. Place the shot glass into the beer. Top the drink with the rest of the beer. Enjoy. Cheers!
