Our next guest DJ is another Go Go regular, Mark Robertson 🙂

I first deejayed at the Central bar, just off the Tyne bridge in 1982/83. We set up a mod night on Wednesdays.
Then 2011 at St Doms Newcastle when Davey Snowden got me back on the decks. In 2019 the Gateshead owld farts scooter club set up an all dayer, which is still going and extremely successful. Tony Wilson and myself did kick start for mods and scooterists for about five years. But like a lot of people we struggled to get venues.

Five fave records? Impossible.. but atm I'd go with

Our guest DJ this week is Colin Dower, we're really chuffed to have him on for the first time at the Go Go. He runs a great club in Edinburgh with Brian Scott 🙂

I first DJ'd at Scooter Club Do's late 80's early 90's.
I've played at various clubs over the last few years, including That Riviera Touch,Tailor Made, Portobello, Ready Steady Go Go, and Mojo Talking. I co hosted Casino Royale and now the Rhythm and Soul Club in Edinburgh.
I like to mix it up, so expect, R&B, Soul, 60's beat, Latin and a bit of Ska.
It's a privilage to play at Rhythm A Go Go and a massive Thank You to Paddy and Andrew for having me.

March 2019 I’m reliably informed was my last stint behind the decks at RAGG, at the old venue.

Having attended the first night in the Station hotel in February this year, I know how good a venue it is and I’m really looking forward to spinning some tunes there.

I always try and mix my set between Soul, R&B, Ska, Reggae, and 60’s Beat, so expect more of the same in October!!

Currently I’m still co promoting the annual Troon Rallies and Tailor Made Mod nights in Glasgow.
Next one is Saturday 19th September, and the last one of the year is 19th December.
