Picture this. Fireside chat, frosty breath, a few cans in. You can’t really top an autumnal evening like that right? For one of our specials this month we wanted to bring that feeling of campfire classic right to you, without leaving the comfort of central heating.

In all seriousness though, its a mix between a tangerine and a grapefruit so expect that delicious, tropical bitterness with a bit helping of juicy orange. It’s light, it’s nice and tart, it’s certainly one that will leave you wanting more. If you need to, justify it as a scientific endeavour to try new fruits. Don’t worry though don’t need to convince us!

‘Moments That Matter’ and Sunday 6th of September was exactly that for 130 of our hospitality community who took to the streets to complete the challenge of Hospitality VS 10K Run!

“Looking after the people who look after the people” is something we are deeply passionate about and seeing our community come together and shine was nothing short of amazing✨

With some great support from our friends we successfully pulled together an incredible day so a few thank yous are a must:

🍝 - you fuelled us up and hosted a celebration that perfectly capped off our achievements. Your terrace vibes were immaculate as always!

📸 - you captured the emotions of the day so brilliantly, thank you for running with us and capturing the day too!

✍️ - for your very kind words in writing about this event and helpings us make so much noise with your PR wizardry again this year!

🏃‍♂️ - thank you for organising such a fantastic event!

🫶 And of course, a huge thank you to every single one of you who ran with us, it wouldn’t be anything without you! You smashed it and we love you!

As we write this post, we’ve collectively raised an incredible £14,490 for our chosen local charity 🥹

In a few weeks, our very own Hollie will be heading off to see the world alongside the biggest boy known to man 🌍

If you’ve ever had the privilege of spending time with Hollie, you’ll know just how much we’re going to miss her. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to Lab 22 over the last few years, Hollie. You’ll leave some very big shoes to fill ❤️

September means one thing and one thing only to us: Negronis. We thought we’d start out with this fruity little number that’s sure to get you off the fence if you’ve never quite been convinced on this classic.

We’ve been super lucky to generate a bit of buzz around our Hospitality VS 10K Challenge!

You may have seen that a group of 130 hospitality staff from around Cardiff are taking part in the Cardiff 10km this Sunday! It’s something that we’ve been doing for the last few years but this is the biggest and best so far!

All of this is in aid of DREAMS & WISHES, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of serious ill children based in South Wales. If you have the means to donate, any amount is so appreciated!! 🩷
