Pluvio
Pluvio is the musical expression of self discovery, development and connection. His sound is a culmination of his experience cutting his teeth in the underground music scene in Cornwall, and wider global communty.
Being blessed with strong musical influences and guidance from friends and his family, particularly his Auntie, Pluvio's eclectic taste of hardcore, gabba, glitch hop, jazz, funk and metal shine throughout his catalogue as he establishes a deep, emotive connection through future garage, downtempo and blends of detailed neuro and glitch-focused sound design and high octane, unpredictable energy.
Whilst endevouring bridge the gap between the the two worlds of calm and chaos, Pluvio's work evolves toward fusing immersive textures with harder breaks and IDM-influenced structures, both in the studio and within a dynamic context.
Through early underground traction, during the worldwide lockdown, Pluvio spent a lot of time with AMPRO at Sinewave Collective, uniting a global network of creatives to develop narrative driven audio/visual concepts. Then, as lockdown began to lift and events were allowed to start running again Pluvio made his debut set alongside Seppa and Teotek and Hurtdeer for the Monday Night War sessions - rekindling his love for dancefloor energy! Pluvio quickly broke into the Neurobreaks scene following the success of his remix of Afghan Headspin's “We want it” for Audiogore recordings and a collaboration with AKOV which lead to the co-founding of Symbiotik Records - a label dedicated to championing neuro infused breakbeat and emerging talent. This marked a clear turning point in his direction landing him his first international headline show at Bass Pressure, Malaga!
After embraced by the breakbeat community, Pluvio continued to share his growth alongside an international network of artists to build momentum for the Neurobreaks sound - Notably Vazteria X, Remenz, Evil Sound, Hellfire Machina, Afghan Headspin, AKOV and Screamarts to help drive collaboration, visibility, and growth for the sound beyond its underground origins.
With various international headline shows and festivals under his belt, a UK Tour and performances at UK festivals and events such as Balter, Lawless Halls of Justice, Underground Resurgance and Varispeed, Pluvio has had the opportunity of sharing the stage with Friction, Broken Note, Burr Oak, Originate & Propa and collaborating with some of the influences that helped shape is sound - including a back-to-back performance with Reso, a split EP with The Satan and a remix appearance on Culprate’s Normal LP!
