XV, A LIQUOR BAR. XV is a Burton cocktail bar on New Street with an inventive and experimental mixology program. We also have over 200 spirits and specialise in bourbon whiskey. We at the latest venue open in Burton, open 12 till 5am every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Those nights are punctuated with live alternative DJs. Nights include, Metal, Classic Rock,

Established in 1997. Bar XV was originally opened in 1997 as a Hip Hop haven by New Zealander Mike Sweeny. In the early 00's Mike sold the bar to a small group of guys who loved live music and the bar evolved a strong rock/Indie scene, to go along with the ever popular Hip Hop nights. In 2004 Giuseppe "Pep" Iannucci was brought in to manage the venue. He brought along his love of cocktails and dive bars he picked up from living and working in New York. These proved popular and went perfectly with the venues eclectic music taste. Table service was also a popular service Pep brought with him from NYC. In 2010 Pep bought the other owners out, and built the spirit and especially the bourbon collection, to its current 200+ range. The collection included some rare whiskeys and spirits not available anywhere in the UK. Bar XV is currently the only late bar in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, open every Thurs, Fri, Sat night until 5am.
