It’s with a lot of sadness and a broken heart that I have taken the decision to close the pub for a last time on Sunday.
The financial situation doesn’t allow to continue anymore.
It’s a part of my life which is going away and despite all the good memories I feel very sad to have to take this decision.
I would like to thank first Anne Marie, Gwen, Alix and Denise for being an amazing staff, much more than barmaids in my heart. I would like to thank everyone who worked at the Harbour through all these years from Sarah to Lynette.
I would also like to thank all the customers we had and the great time we spent together, so many great days and nights.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the musicians who made this place lively.
I would like to thank my lovely neighbours who have enjoyed the proximity of the pub in many ways.
Last but not least a very special thanks to all the pool players (don’t make me choose between the A and B team or the quines I love you all) and the darts players who have been defending proudly the name of the Harbour Bar.
