14 years ago we opened our first bar, Hyde & Co, tucked away on Clifton Triangle. We'd spent months transforming the space into the city's first speakeasy, with blood, sweat and tears going into it, but looking back at the legacy we've built and the loyal following we've gained over the years it was worth it all. But all good things come to an end, and today we're bringing you the news that at the end of this month we'll be handing over the reins to the next generation, as new owners will be taking on the venue.
Hyde set the bar for everything we've achieved since, and we've had some incredible talent pass through over the years, so we want to say a massive thank you to every single bartender who's graced our bar - we're so proud of all of you. And to our customers - it's been a pleasure keeping you imbibed and getting to know you all, and thank you for all of your support both at Hyde & Co and across our group of bars and restaurants.
We've got lots of exciting plans coming up for the Hyde & Co group, so whilst this is a fond farewell to our first bar, we're very excited for what the future has in store for us, and you'll want to keep your eyes peeled for what's next. We want to wish the new owners the best of luck and we can't wait to see what they've got in store for the bar.
Our last day of service will be Sunday 29th September, and we'll be throwing a special farewell party on Saturday 28th, so please do book a table and come and raise a glass to the end of an era as we drink the bar dry! We'll be running plenty of drinks offers between now and then, so come and celebrate the past 14 years in true Hyde style!
