Poster reveal for BH Thurs April 2nd in Bristol! in a small club! Liquid baby! Top The styles are front and centre of what Slippin’ is all about but yes we also like it tough when called for! On this night there is also special guest closing things and after some previous appearances at Slippin’ the rising talent that is is hosting the night! Slippin’ honchos and will warm up before Fabio and we have visuals supplied by plus a lighting technician inside again! Early release tix now 12.50 still until Friday! As we hit 2 and enter our third year this Friday, we look back on what we’ve done in our first two years and it feels good! ❤️☺️ The night has had a whole bunch of very fun and incredibly vibey events. The feedback and enthusiasm from our still quite small but loyal following has been full of positivity from the off. I (Nathan) started this night, as despite the abundance of DnB in Bristol it felt like the trends had taken us away from some of the vibes and DnB music I remembered hearing in clubs and it certainly felt like good quality Liquid was generally under-represented here a couple of years ago. While the deeper, smoother, funkier, more soulful or more rolling styles of DnB is at the core of what we do, we simply like good Jungle and DnB and are particularly inspired by the good stuff that came out from 1996/7 to 2010! Of course there’s good stuff from every era and every year. Ultimately we just want a more varied and dare we say slightly more mature experience when hosting DnB in the club! Artists we’ve booked / have performed in the first two years of Slippin’ are: .instinct .bluejay .nature.music me haha and who we hope is skanking out in the sky! Biggups all you people who support and appreciate what we do and anyone who helps! We appreciate you and love being able to create sick nights! ❤️ Slippin’

This Friday’s event is set to be hosted on the mic by a pair of wordsmiths we love. .bluejay and .

We’re proud to have MC Bluejay as a regualr performer at Slippin’. A soldier of DnB and a long time and well respected part of the Bristol scene, Bluejay takes a calmer and more considered approach than many DnB MCs and as a student of the music he balances out the job or elements an MC brings just perfectly in our view. The track on Slide 1 is MC Bluejay in the studio with Bristol duo !

Joining Bluejay is the exciting new talent that is ! Rhi is London born but based in Cardiff and we are super glad to be able to invite Rhi back in case you catch her when she’s smashed it alongside at our previous event. Rhi can sing. Rhi can rap. We’re not gonna say who she reminds us of, you come and bear witness and make up your own mind but we will confidently say the girl is 🔥🔥 - check out two recent live bits on Slides 2&3 for proof! ❤️

MC Bluejay and Rhi’N’B will be alternating across the night to keep things hyped and host over this Friday’s set to be excellent club session of Drum & Bass! - Tix be moving now…Just 3 sleeps to go 😛☝️💃🔊

Slippin’ is back in 5 days!! 🍌 and it’s our 2nd birthday.

2 years of building these nights properly. Music first, the right crowd, no shortcuts!

We’re celebrating with a lineup we’re genuinely proud of, (extended set), .instinct b2b , plus the Slippin residents , where these nights always hit different.
