Jus' Mix is a new mix series focussing on jazzier DJs who are affiliated with the Jus' Move events in Bristol. Huge thanks to Swindon selector Marc Nicholas for stepping up for our maiden voyage. Hit the link in the comments to hear Marcs amazing mix.

Some words on Marc below...

Marc Nicholas has been an integral part of the UK Jazz Dance scene for decades on both sides of the decks. A gifted dancer who's been dancing to hardcore fusion jazz since the late 90s, Marc plays at legendary UK jazz dance nights Out To Lunch, Shiftless Shuffle and runs his own amazing Sunday Session The Jazz Quarterly in his home town Swindon.

He's got very broad taste so expect to hear bop, samba, Latin, fusion, soulful house, broken beat, soul, jazz funk and more.

THANK YOU to everyone who came to Jus' Move yesterday at Strange Brew in Bristol. It was a lovely vibe and great to see so many new dancers coming along to join our regular crowd.

It's such a pleasure to create this kind of atmosphere and culture so huge thanks to everyone for being part of it.

Huge shouts to Killer Jim and Daddio from Out To Lunch for coming a long way to represent their sound and big shouts to our local DJs Nathan Worm Music and Red Rack'em

Too many people to shout out but special thanks to Loop_solitaire and Mai for the help on the door, Nick Clague for the photos and vids and of course ALL the dancers for coming a long way and dancing hard to our music!

We will be taking a break until early next year but keep an eye on this page and your inboxes as we have a new mix series being inaugurated by Marc from The Jazz Quarterly later on this week and we will have some lovely photos and videos from yesterday going online in the next week or so.

Marc Nicholas from The Jazz Quarterly in Swindon was one of our guests in September and he didn't disappoint.

He's put together an amazing themed mix for us which is full of amazing music.

If you're anywhere near Bristol on Sunday (Nov 6th) then come along to Jus' Move at Strange Brew, Fairfax Street which promises to be a very special afternoon session.

4-10pm with the best Dancefloor Jazz, Broken Beat, Samba, Afro Cuban, Bossanova, Jazzy House, Future Jazz, Afro Beat - and lots of lovely people who like dancing too.

We've invited Killer Jim and Daddio down from legendary Nottingham Jazz event Out To Lunch - they have been promoting a monthly Jazzdance event since the early 2000s!
Local support comes from Nathan from Worm Disco Club and Red Rack'em.

Advance tickets are available on Headfirst or you can pay on the door. Under 18s welcome with a parent and under 16s get in for free. 16-18 year olds have a heavily discounted ticket.

Super excited to be welcoming Killer Jim and Daddio from Out To Lunch in Nottingham on November 6th!

OTL is the longest running regular Jazzdance event in the UK I believe (apologies if wrong) and it's been a huge influence on several generations. We can't wait to welcome these vibes into Bristol for the next Jus' Move event....

Jus' Move returns! Sunday November 6th at Strange Brew in Bristol with an all star cast of amazing DJs, dancers, lovely people and all round good vibes!

We've invited the Out To Lunch crew down from Nottingham to join us at our 3rd event - our founder Red Rack'em was a regular OTL attendee in the early to mid 2000s so it was a huge influence on his musical tastes. He was invited to play at the night in 2008 and 2011 so it feels full circle to invite Killer Jim and Daddio down to play in Bristol.

We've also invited Nathan Worm - DJ & Promoter Page from Worm Disco Club back to play more of his amazing vibes too.

The HUGEST of thanks to everyone who came to our second event earlier this month. It was great to see lots of new people in attendance as well as some old friends too.

To the dancers - you did us all proud with your good vibes and amazing interpretation of the music.

And the DJs - huge thanks to Josiah, Marc, Roselien and Danny for the excellent across the boards goodness all day/night. Extra thanks to Roselien for her amazing live vocals on her new Rosie From The Block material which was an un-billed but welcome surprise.

Big thanks to Strange Brew for giving us such a nice environment to get down in and also to Nick Clague for the wonderful photos.
