The Loft

So as some may and some may not be aware we received the news on Tuesday that every venue hates to hear and that is that our 3 venues Smugglers, The Loft and 10 Below have been sold and will be shutting their doors for the last time this weekend. What the future holds for them, who knows, but in the meantime we want to thank everyone, promoters, customers and staff alike who have enjoyed memorable times with us in the last 39 years. We close on Sunday so there’s still time to join us for a trip down memory lane, with Smugglers live sport and lively pre-club vibe to the fore and the Loft appropriately hosting the man who has done so much for the Loft and 10 Below in recent times, Pablo Contraband, this time alongside Barnt for what’s sure to be an emotional farewell to the club graced by many.

Barnt flying in from Cologne to play Disco Deviant this Saturday - our final club night before we close our doors. Big thanks to Pablo and all of you deviants, had some amazing nights in here over the years.

A sunny day in Brighton and an awesome day of live sport at Smugglers and the Loft in prospect. Smugglers will have all of todays football, and we're opening the Loft specially for the 6 nations rugby between Ireland and England at 3pm. The football kicks off at 12pm with Liverpool v Man City and Celtic v Aberdeen, continues on at 2.05pm with Arsenal v Everton, then its off to Wembley at 4pm for the League Cup Final between Chelsea & Spurs. If you want to watch the football and the rugby at the same time, don't worry, we'll have a screen with the rugby on in Smugglers from 3!

Something different in the Loft tomorrow...For one day only we're showing International Rugby Union and have an 8 foot screen in specially for the occasion as 6 Nations action brings Ireland v England together at 3pm. Doors open at 2pm, free entry and a free half time selection of nibbles too!

2GB USB memory stick found at The Loft from Saturdays First Floor Sound Launch Party. Seems to belong to one Patrick Metcalfe, lots of Uni work etc on it. Let us know if you have any info so it can be returned.
