Doing anything next Saturday?
In addition to the show I'm putting on at this Thursday, in a week VIBES will be taking over the Saturday bar for a one off, alternative 80s prom night special! Come enjoy the last bank holiday Saturday for a while and put your mullet where your mouth is. I hope people come in fancy dress because I'm going to, channeling my inner Ducky from Pretty In Pink for one night only. Oh, and there's gonna be prizes for who gets crowned Prom Sovereigns of the night! Judges will not be taking bribes, though some brandy in the punch wouldn't go amiss.

Oh, and I had a lot of fun making this poster and really trying hard to find some alternative, non-cis white heteronormative pics from 80s proms, which led me to all these cute fu***rs (swipe left).

Hope everyone's keeping safe during this very horrid time. Some of you may have heard already but VIBES, along with the other DJ nights at The Hope & Ruin, will be taking a break in a responsible move towards encouraging social distancing. We will be back as soon as we get the green light to do so, but we'll miss you so! In the meantime, please enjoy some pop hits to keep you warm while you're at home ###
