A well overdue love letter to our Brighton family but moving cities has taken up a lot of time and energy.

After such a longstanding love affair with our seaside home, it felt like by leaving we were digging up the roots of a tall oak we’d watered and nourished from a small shrub, but the energy this night changed all of that for us.

We want to say a huge thank you, not only to all those that came to dance this night but all of the people who have entered our world before that. Aeon is born out of love for techno, love for our community and love for each other, and we have felt that time and time again at each instance of our meeting over the years.

So thank you to our Brighton community, to all the friends behind the scenes who have worked the door, or documented our events. Every friend that stepped in to help when the workload was too much for two of us.

And of course to all of our visual artists and DJs that have brought their craft to our space. It has been a joy to create this immersive world of sound and light with you all.

Extra special thanks to .online who has been such a key part of AEON from the very beginning, tirelessly working with us to create our logo, posters, artist cards, animated graphics, live visuals. We are so grateful.

Brighton - we love you, we miss you & we’ll be back at some point, don’t go anywhere.

London - we’re here and planning is underway to show what we have to offer, watch this space.

For our farewell party, we thought it was only appropriate to ask .online to work his magic on live visuals and submerge you all into the immersive space that makes Aeon what it is.

Oscar has been with us since the beginning and has brought our vision of what Aeon is to life, through countless posters, logos, sticker designs & of course, live visuals.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

We have the absolute pleasure of welcoming & AKA to the basement next Saturday.

The duo are becoming widely known for their dark, witchy & ethereal sound, having played for events all across London. Here’s a bit more about them:

CITYTRONIX is a DJ, producer and sound designer from the South East in an industrial town. CITYTRONIX started out as a producer-come-DJ, whilst also undertaking sound engineering and sound design. She began playing shows circa 2017 and since then has found herself playing at The DBA, FOLD, Venue MOT, The Cause and more, finding her sound within the realms of techno.

Nohexcode is a DJ based in east London, having to find their foundation with DJing Drum and Bass records in their early teens, they began to indulge in playing hypnotic rhythms and dark techno records since 2022. They are no stranger and are a recognisable face to FOLD, and many other events ahead.

CITYTRONIX & Nohexcode run a monthly radio show for Voices Radio circa last year, inviting and platforming FLINTA* based DJs as guests every third Friday of the month.

MarcelDune is a London-based artist with a deep-rooted connection to music, shaped by jazz studies, opera singing, and the raw energy of the punk DIY scene.

Their work is driven by a commitment to resistance and authenticity, using sound to explore themes of liberation and self-expression.

Blending modular synthesis, analogue and digital sound design, and evocative vocals, MarcelDune redefines the possibilities of dance music.

As a producer and performer, they have collaborated with Boiler Room, FACT Magazine, DJ Mag, Mixmag, and Dazed Magazine, with releases on esteemed labels like INTREPID SKIN, HAVEN, and REPITCH RECORDINGS.

Their performances span some of Europe’s most renowned clubs and festivals, including Berghain | Panorama Bar, Warehouse Project Manchester, Tresor Berlin, RSO Berlin, FOLD London, and Corsica Studios.

They have also made notable radio appearances on NTS Radio, RINSE UK, RINSE France, and HÖR Berlin, solidifying their presence in the underground electronic music scene.

Often an unsung hero, the person behind Aeon’s visual storytelling & 1/2 of the cofounders, will be setting the tone for the evening for our final event in Brighton.

Fusing the vibrant rhythms of Mexico’s psytrance scene with the pulsating energy of Chicago and Detroit techno, Vaqero’s sets are a unique blend, infused with a Latino flow that prepares the dance floor for fire! Renowned as a selector rather than a DJ, Vaqero crafts sonic journeys that transcend boundaries, connecting souls through music.

Join us as we mark the end of this incredible chapter in our journey - only a few early bird tickets remaining.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

As a long time friend, esteemed selector and staple of Brighton’s q***r dance music scene, we are delighted to welcome to close down our May Bank Holiday Sunday party on the 25th.

B4B’s genre-spanning sets are brought together by a love of finding connections between sounds from different corners of the world, blending high-energy elements from techno, hard drum, batida, jersey club, guaracha, ballroom, and beyond.

For this closing set, they’ll be focusing on the darker, driving side of techno—leaning into hypnotic, percussive rhythms, bassy textures, and the cunty flair of ballroom.

B4B is a co-founder of DJ collective , which platforms gender non-conforming people and women in the city’s electronic music scene.

Tickets are now on first release on RA, but there are still some earlybirds available on DICE, through the link in our bio.
