A killing jar is a device used by entomologists to kill captured insects quickly and with minimum damage. The most common killing agents are ether, chloroform and ethyl acetate. Ethyl acetate has many advantages and is very widely used.

Thank you so much to everyone that visited "A Drink with Mother" - The first Society of Cocktails event in Brighton since the pre-pandemic. Together we telepathically linked to a fungal entity, explored how AI can drive story, tasted umami and fermented flavours and left - taking Mother with us. 💛⁠
