It’s 3 years to the day since we got the keys.
At that point it was just the two of us, a space, and a pretty simple idea. Cook everything over fire and see what happens.
We had no idea what we were really getting ourselves into. And if we’re honest, if we did… we might not have done it. But we’re very glad we did.
Because what it’s become is so much more than we could have imagined and that’s down to the people in it.
The team (past & present) who’ve backed this place, worked unbelievably hard and continue to push it forward every day. They inspire us more than they probably realise.
And everyone who’s walked through the door, sat by the fire, come back again, told their friends… you’ve made this what it is. We’ll always be so grateful for that!
The best part is, 3 years in, it still feels like the beginning.
Our friendship has grown with the restaurant, and so has everything around it. We can’t wait to see what the next 3 years bring and we hope you’ll come along with us for the ride.
