Apiary is closing - Part 2

The Bees 🐝 - The Staff 🧑‍🍳 - The Venue 🏡

Couple of things I wanted to talk about regarding what’s happening next for us & Apiary…

🐝 The Bees - They’re staying with me, and will form part of our plans as we lay the foundation for what’s next…

The Bee Experience Days will continue through the summer. Only a handful of spaces left at the moment, but if there is demand for more dates then I will happily put on more.

For groups of 6+ we offer a private tour and 10% in total ticket price.

🧑‍🍳 The Staff - In Monika we have one of the most talented chefs in the city. Her food is amazing, her creativity seems to be limitless, and she’s just a great person to work with. Of course we cannot say what she will do next, but if she remains in kitchens then she will be a real asset to the venue as a whole.

🏡 The Venue - Not yet on the market, but will be soon. 25-30 covers upstairs, potential for another 10-15 downstairs. Small but well equipped kitchen. Bar has everything you need. Great location, great neighbours. What more could you ask for. If you’re interested, drop me a line: [email protected].

😢 We are closing - Part 1

All good things come to an end, and we are going to be calling time at the bar on August 29th.

Thank you for all the support you have given us so far, and I’m sorry that we couldn’t make it work for longer.

More details to follow in due course but for now, you’ve got 9-ish weeks to get your last fix of our honey laced food & drink.

Please Note:
For those with gift vouchers, they will of course be honoured until our last day. Our Bee Experience Days will continue as scheduled.

Using the entire honeycomb straight from our hives, we blend that with good quality tequila, and, taking inspiration from the classic Penicillin cocktail, turn our honey-tequila into an entirely smashable highball.

☀️ NOW OPEN TUESDAYS ☀️

As we head into the Summer months, we’re changing our opening hours from Wed-Sun to Tue-Sat.

This allows us to host our Bee Experience Days on Sundays, as well as giving us the flexibility to host more weekend pop ups (of which we have a couple in the pipeline already to get excited about).

Also, having spent 2 years working every single weekend, having Sundays off means I can spend a bit more time with the family, which to be honest I can’t wait for. Might even see what these “Sunday Roasts” are that people keep talking about 😂.

Starting from TODAY, we are open Tuesday.

Spaces are filling up for our first round of Bee Experience Days.

Learn about all things ‘bee’, before diving head first into a hive full of the majestic creatures (bonus points if you find the queen). Then of course, a glass of fizz to finish!

So, come on your own, bring a mate, bring a date, or bring the whole work crowd. It really is a great way to spend a Sunday morning.
