Gary Moore left us in February 2011. Thanks to the likes of him and many others he kept the blues alive and popular.Thankfully his music will not vanish and is being kept alive even with the current younger generation of musicians. My Granddaughter, especially for me, has recorded her version of one of his classics - Still Got The Blues, released in 1990 and many years before she was born. I cannot tell you how proud I am of her and her version. It's raw yet tender, soulful with just the right undercurrent of blues and deserves the attention of a proper recording studio.

Diana Ross starred in the film Lady Sings the Blues. This was about the great blues singer Billie Holiday. Good film with some great music. Worth a watch.
However, just came across another real blues player Beverly "Guitar" Watkins. Probably one of the best women blues six stringers.. Unfortunately she was taken from us in October 2019 at the age of 80 but her legacy lives on. This is her playing live at the age of 78. It's real stuff, enjoy.

Just watched Jesse Fuller pt. 2. It is so clear that he had a massive influence on the Stones (Rolling - not Roses) One track comes to mind High and Dry. So much of Fullers influence on this. If you should get round to playing pt.2 listen to the last track and then compare to the stones High and Dry. Like the same song with different lyrics.
