Digital Futures in Dance is an opportunity for artists, promoters, producers, venues, academics and creative and digital companies to come together to discuss future possibilities for dance and technology. With an increasing growth in interdisciplinary practice, Digital Futures in Dance investigates how new digital technologies create new conditions for choreographing and presenting dance. The con

ference is structured around three interrelated themes explored through presentations, workshops, performances and installations:

The expanded stage: Stage, screen and bodies -. New Body Intelligence: Data as raw material - How will new intelligence of the body influence choreography in the future? Social Interaction: Mobile and interactive technology devices - How will increased interactivity influence the creation and reception of dance in the future? Speakers include:

• Anthony Lilley - Chief Creative Office and CEO of Magic Lantern
• Scott DelaHunta - Senior Research Fellow Coventry University/ R-Research Director, Wayne McGregor|Random Dance and Program and Research Coordinator Motion Bank/ The Forsythe Company
• Marlon Barrios Solanes - Founder and Director of Dance-Tech.net
• BADco – performance and media artists’ collective and developers of new software Whatever Dance Toolbox (Serbia)
• Mark Coniglio - co-director of Troika Ranch an developer of Isadora software
