On the 13th September we will take you on a journey… Aiming to recapture everything that made you fall in love with techno in the first place. Whilst all the time innovating and reasserting the boundaries towards a new conception.
In Blawan we present someone who shares our innovative intentions.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to reschedule our opening showcase till September.

New date: 13th September. Unfortunately we had to postpone the original date for Arcane. 2015 has taken a heavy toll on the project, first with personal berevements then Facebook blocking the add account & other challenges. In order to do the concept justice we decided to hold it back till September.
Blawan will be bringing his trademark percusive and innovative interpretation on the techno genre, with support from Phutek & a couple of local names that are part of the very fabric of the Birmingham scene

BLAWAN will appear alongside a killer lineup of local names
If you have bought tickets for next Saturday you will get the chance to claim a refund but we are sure you would rather join us in September

Full lineup announcement for Arcane: Agenda 111
Blawan's style illuminates a natural fluency for rhythm, whether straight, stridently syncopated, or swinging somewhere in between. Having released across the board of rippling jet-black minimalism, jubilant two-step vocal cuts, and savant grooving techno, the labels Roberts has worked with are appropriately varied: Hessle Audio, R&S, Clone’s Basement Series, Hinge Finger, and Black Sun as Blawan, plus The Trilogy Tapes and Avian under his other solo names.
Blawan's own label, TERNESC, was established in 2015 and has served as the home for his last five releases as Blawan. Having made the move to Berlin in 2015, his analogue-driven studio production and formidable live sets have propelled Roberts into exciting new directions, even as he maintains expert command of more traditional dance floor environments from behind the decks.
Phutek is a name etched Into the Midlands techno scene, a name synonymous with energetic techno sets, our resident brings a certain flavour to every lineup he is a part of. Previously named resident for Awakenings UK he is a name highly respected within the industry.

From the post industrial wasteland emerges a new concept....
returning to the seditious roots of the rave movement, reclaimed from the crumbling graffitied brickwork of Digbeth, a new raw and uncompromising space featuring a bespoke sound system and unique transcendental production...
This is Arcane: Agenda 111, is the first installment in a series of events that aim to create a clandestine undercurrent, a new subculture for the second city. This is an initiation, the aim is to bring about transcendence using esoteric frequencies to provoke an awakening, into a shared ethereal gnosis, an ascension of the astral body onto a higher plane of experience.
Headliner announcement incoming: expect a world class techno dj to match the ethos

From beneath the arches of Birmingham’s post industrial heartland emerges Trap Door... Stripped back, relentless and intense. Expect the Trap Door experience to reflect the raw nature of this underground space, beyond the trap door you will discover 3 distinct soundscapes, each with its own vibe;
Arch 29: From the hard brickwork, to the steel drum roof, to the ear splitting sound system, this is Arch 29, a tribute to the raw abandoned urban spaces from which the rave scene first emerged.
The Tunnel: The Tunnel is etched out from beneath the rail way lines, under the hard bricked arches. The cylindrical roof creates an imposing aspect, a truly unique & iconic space meets the eye as you as you climb the stairway and the smoke clears....The Tunnel is equipped with spacey lighting and futuristic visual effects like the vortex visualisation system to send you into inter-dimensional states.
The Vault: The low ceiling creates an intimate vibe and a relentless intensity...there is no hiding in this pressure cooker space...there is no escape even for the sound...that hits you with full force..the bass rumbles from pillar to post like a storm wave...This is the Vault
Remember; at Trap Door the moment is everything so lose yourself......
