Time to say BYE BYE BAR 👋 👶

It's been an honour bringing our zero waste cafe bar to life over the last few years, but it is now time to close this door so we can open others as we enter the life of parenthood!

Bar & Baby is not quite the right mix for us and after a very busy (and stressful) first 5 months of our baby boy's life, we've made a difficult decision to close Kilo Ziro so we can concentrate on our son and our zero waste shop - and perhaps I can have a taste of what maternity leave feels like! 🙈

We are proud of the achievements we have managed in this short space of time from Best Food Waste Prevention 2022, Sustainable Food Business 2023 and 2024 and Best Afternoon Tea Establishment 2023!

A huge thank you to every individual that has helped us on our journey and every customer that has walked through the door, helping support our waste reducing concept bar. We are proud to have saved tonnes of waste from going to landfill! 🌏

Thank you to all our eco-friendly brands and quality local suppliers who have delivered excellence into our little cafe bar! 🎊

And of course, a huge thank you to our hardworking team whom we will miss - although you may still spot a few familiar faces working at our shop! 🤗

This is goodbye for now... until the next chapter! 💚

Join us at Kilo Ziro in Digbeth Birmingham for a luxury Christmas Wreath Making Workshop led by Beth at Bracken & Moss .and.moss where you will make a beautiful wreath to take home and hang with pride on your front door! 🎄

Dates and Times:

Monday 2nd December – 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Tuesday 3rd December – 6:30pm – 8:30pm

During these 2 hour workshops you will learn the art of crafting your own moss-backed Christmas Wreath which you will decorate with a variety of natural eco & seasonal foliage, berries, cones, seed heads and other festive decorations, some of which has been grown or foraged locally by Beth herself. She will give you a demonstration on how to make your wreath, then there will be guidance throughout to help you bring your wreath design to life.

All materials, foliage, equipment and decorations will be provided for you. Plus, whilst you are making, there will be a glass of artisan mulled wine and a locally made mince pie from KILO ZIRO to keep you refreshed!

KILO ZIRO will also be offering 10% off all drinks that evening – let’s make a night out of it!

This class is perfect for anyone aged over 14 (a 100% locally pressed juice will be provided for under 18s).
