9th Avenue

Rye Whiskey
PX Sherry
Banana
Ceylon Tea
Bitters

This is a boozy one! We spend 3 days soaking bananas in Demerara sugar to create a delicious syrup. This gets mixed in with our rye, PX and bitters to create a delicious Manhattan twist. We aren't done yet. We brew a black tea and use this as the dilution for the drink to bring extra complexity. The whole thing goes in the freezer and is ready to pour whenever you order. A punchy, smooth, rich twist on a great classic.

Our Rum and Chocolate tasting is next Sunday (31st) at 3.30pm. Tickets are still available at the bar!

We'll be tasting 4 different rums paired with 4 chocolates from the wonderful . The rums will explore different islands, production methods and flavours to show off the breadth of the category. Join us for sweet treats and tasty spirits.

The Arts in Birmingham

The written word has many highlights in Birmingham. Writers and poets litter Birmingham's history with incredible work that has shaped culture in the UK and beyond. None more so than the fantasy epics of Tolkien. The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are seminal works and have inspired people around the world. Our artwork captures one of the most famous spots in Middle Earth, Hobbiton. Tolkien got much of his inspiration for Middle Earth. Particularly from Sarehole Mill on the River Cole in Hall Green. Enjoy a beverage and soak in some of Birmingham's finest.

Rum and Chocolate Tasting

31st of May - 3.30pm

Continuing our tasting session pairing series, our next tasting will be a collection of rum and chocolate. We will be tasting 4 delicious rums, from different islands, paired with chocolates by the wonderful . There will be a check chocolate rum cocktail as well!

Tickets are £35 and available at the bar.

Here Comes The Plum

Plum Sake
Plum and Rooibos Syrup

We include a twist on a Ramos Gin Fizz in our menu each year. Our plays on a Ramos (and the classic) have always been popular at Fox and Chance. This summer we've created a plum forward version to give a fruity twist to this tangy creamy drink. The plum sake brings a lighter floral note as well. The challenge is to get the head as tall as possible! Come and grab one in the sun.

The Arts in Birmingham

With our menu we're celebrating Birmingham's contributions to the arts in all formats. BBC Birmingham is one of the oldest regional broadcasters of the BBC. The old Pebble Mill studio was a hub for BBC production and work on many of the biggest shows on TV was done there. The most iconic Birmingham based show is of course Brum (not peaky blinders)! We wanted to show off this cheeky little car in our menu, having a bit of fun with Charlie the fox. So here's to Brum and the awesome television work that goes on in Birmingham every day.
