Notice to all!

Tough decisions have to be made sometimes and we are no exception. Over the brilliant last two years we have tried to use our independence of ties to bring you the very best local produce and services possible.

We have also done our upmost to do this at the lowest prices possible and have not increased any since we started. That has come at some cost to us and we have swallowed as much of the increases in business rates, delivery charges, wage increases and apparent global factors as we could.

It is with regret that we are no longer able to do this.

You will have seen messages like this from all over and no doubt looked at them and thought ‘money grabbers’ etc.

May I take this opportunity to tell you that is so far from the truth. I stand with every independent small business in this tough time.

Garnish’s growth has been incredible and thanks to our wonderful customer base the journey continues however, the market has changed and therefore we must adapt.

Please do your research, our prices will still be better than most in our area.

Our services will continue to grow and our passion will not be diluted no matter who swings the gavel at number 10.
So, in short, our price increases will take effect from 5th August 2026.

We apologise in advance and appreciate your understanding.

Due to foreseen circumstances we are open today!

However,

Due to unforeseen circumstances we do not have a headline act scheduled for our usual 3pm live music session.

So,

In the interest of keeping the dream alive I’ll play a couple and I’ll put a rallying cry out to anyone that can play. Join me tomorrow!

Also if you want to sing, I’ll do my best to learn it on the spot. Worst things have happened right?

As heartbreaking as last nights result is we need to look at the positives.

One of which being we don’t have to make the gut wrenching decision to let anyone sing wonderwall on Sunday.
