Could this year get any worse. As the hospitality industry crumbles around us and bars and nightclubs remain shut, peoples livelihoods have been destroyed with no end in sight opportune thieves decided to target our beloved club over the weekend. We are down and out but will not be beaten.. We will be back bigger and better than before. And to those people who decided to Rob us at the weekend we speak for the whole music scene and on behalf of all our staff and all of our loyal customers when we say " go f**k yourselves"

We are sorry to be the bearers of bad news again but we have unfortunately had to make the decision to delay our reopening due to recent government announcements.. A nightclub without music is no club at all. We will reopen, we will be ready when the time comes to throw open our doors we will be having the biggest party you have ever seen. Until then stay safe. Folks it is with a heavy heart the management team at Plastik have decided to reschedule our planned reopening this weekend. We have been liaising with Belfast City Council and the PSNI and together reached the decision that for the safety of all our patrons and staff we really need to postpone our reopening. Today's latest figures have shown an alarming increase in the spread of covid-19 with the R figure now as high as 1.6 in the community. Despite having a robust management plan in place and every possible measure taken we simply could not guarantee people would adhere to the guidelines. Rest assured Plastik will reopen, we will be waiting with open arms to welcome you all back and guarantee it will be a night to remember for all the right reasons.
