As Belfast Pride Festival 2026 comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who marched, volunteered, performed, organised, donated, and celebrated with us. Together, you made this year’s Pride a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and joy of our community.
However, we are devastated to hear news of the heinous attack at Berlin Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride Event. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, those who were injured, the loved ones of the person who lost their life, and Berlin’s LGBTQIA+ community as they come to terms with this horrific act.
Pride has always been about more than celebration. It is about standing together in the face of hate, refusing to be intimidated, and continuing to fight for a world where every LGBTQIA+ person can live openly, safely, and proudly.
