In a back-street in Bedford called Lurke Street there is an old terrace house that many moons ago was converted into a nightclub (in days gone by it was called ‘Winkles’ and also the ‘Limehaus’) and now answers to – The Pad. hts on Fridays from the likes of Dubzilla, Pirate Sessions, 1 Night Whip, Silent Disco and more. Run by and for music lovers firstly the club set out to bring something different to Bedford’s night-life representing most forms of underground music. Now entering our ninth year the Pad has settled into a nice routine with a diet of indie based music bringing some packed weekend nights and a heaving dancefloor to Bedford’s music scene. If it sounds like your cup of tea then knocking three times on the door should get you let in. We pride ourselves at always bringing the best guests to Bedford, both through The Pad and our sister enterprise The Pad presents... which runs gigs at various venues throughout the town.
