Feeling inspired by the London marathon? Get yourselves signed up for the Midsummer Run, it's a great cause with an exciting new 10k route. An annual Robertsbridge Bonfire Society fundraising event.

Plan B. Hastings Half Marathon was unfortunately cancelled so I decided to go out and run the distance anyway especially as I had been sponsored to do it to raise much needed funds for for their young people's programmes, Young Rangers and Education Groups 💚 I plotted a course and got out this morning and did it!! I am glad to have managed the distance and proud to have completed the challenge. Huge thanks to everyone who sponsored me and to my running coach and .gym for all their brilliant coaching to help me stay strong and mobile.

Come join us for our annual Midsummer Run, a fundraiser for Friday 20 June at Robertsbridge Recreation Ground TN32 5AA. There'll be a bar and bbq plus a children's race before the main 5k and 10k event. There's a new 10k route which takes you round the beautiful countryside on quiet tracks and a bit of trail mixed in. It promises to be a great evening for all the family. Check out to book your place, they're doing a fabulous job of organising the event for us. See you there ☀️
