TRANSLIVING NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT TO CONTINUE…
For 46 years, Transliving has supported the wider trans and non-binary community by hosting social events at a fully exclusive venue and publishing our free, online international lifestyle magazine.
We have offered free training to governing bodies, contributed to the fight for Gender Recognition Certificates, and remained a 100% non profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. All funds go directly toward events and web hosting; only our DJs are paid.
As times change, so must we—and we need the community’s support to continue. Our upcoming Eastbourne event currently has too few bookings to go ahead. Many have said they intend to book but haven’t yet, and with only five weeks left, time is running out.
We’ve listened to your feedback: dressing themes, as always, are optional and purely for dressing up fun, but we will no longer interrupt the disco by having a parade; we will, however, still have prizes for the best outfits. We’ll still hold our annual Miss Transliving competition. Following Katie’s departure as DJ, we are delighted to welcome DJ Amanda from March, bringing 40+ years of DJ experience, including covering trans events.
During the day, the March weekend will include our usual quizzes, card games, and a horse-racing game—but we need your bookings to make it all happen.
We also welcome Ashlee as our new resident makeup artist, offering makeovers throughout the weekend.
If Eastbourne is cancelled, we risk losing the venue and, ultimately, Transliving itself, as surplus funds from these weekends keep our website, forum, and monthly party nights running. This is a critical moment.
We're planning to relaunch a more modern Transliving in 2026 and need your support.
If you want Transliving to continue, please book, support us, and spread the word.
As always, my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who have supported me with Transliving since the sad passing of Stacy Novak.
Bookings available at www.transliving.co.uk
Much love,
