Oh Dear....

The amazingly talented artist from A Quirk of FELT has just dropped a bombshell that Wooliam, my awesomely woolly life sized baby who models my lovely baby items for me - is 19 months old! No WAY does time pass that fast! (He's such a quiet baby that I hardly notice he's here ) We have lots of things made by Kathy here at Mumble Manor, each one as exquisitely made as the last. I'd love for you to head on over to her page and say hello... take time to browse through her works and like her page if you do! Don't forget to tell her who sent you! ;)

I intend to take a photo of each item individually, and in the description putting links to the relevant page(s) or person responsible for making it. It's just going to be a showcase kind of page where you can hopefully promote yourself and your work, and I can direct people to you, all free, of course. I like to help people market themselves, and you might find this a useful tool for both networking and increasing your "reach". If you have sent me an item, and do not wish for me to do this, then let me know. Your item will only be shown in the group photographs. If you are happy for the individual photos to be taken of your creation, please let me know what information you would like to be added to the image, so that people can find you easily showing yourself off to your best ability, by messaging the mumble manor page or commenting on the photo of your work when it pops up. I probably won't be able to take many photos until the new year, but I'm shouting up now so that you can all be having a think about the information you'd like to add. :D

As many of you have noticed already, this is a new page for the wonderful creations I've acquired from various artists. The idea is that it will be a way of showcasing the items which I own. (I'm slowly working my way around all the artists whose work I adore and adding them to my collection ;) ) Each artist will have a folder with their company name, and will be able to include a poster, flyer or business card and have their pages tagged if desired.

From the artists' points of view, the idea is that if someone loves something you've made (my collection photos have already generated over 40 sales for the artists whose work is displayed) they'll be able to find you easily from the photo's and the tags I'm attaching. I'll be taking individual photos of each item over time, so that people can see the items close-up. I'm not charging for this. I believe that every one of the items I'll be showcasing is awesome, well-made and worth shouting about. It would also be something that you could promote on your "appearing at" list of blog pages, etc. If you'd prefer me not to do this, please let me know. Equally, if you'd like to mail me a flyer or contact page for your folder, just PM me. ;)

From the point of view of those people with their own collections, just like drooling at awesome creations, or maybe would love some epic of your own, but not sure where to find it, come on in, have a nosey, ask questions and let me know what you think! Brews and biscuits all round.

THE ITEMS ARE NOT AND WILL NOT BE FOR SALE... I JUST LIKE BRAGGING ;) and raising people's awareness of the (sometimes hidden) talents of so many gifted artists.
