Tamworth's own discussion page for old school clubbers and lovers of the dance music scene of the late 80's through to the 90's. This page is put together by a bunch of enthusiasts with a shared ethos centred around fun and not profit. We're all genuine, just somebody needed to create the page so it was us. We feel it's not a group, it's a difficult to put into words kind of connection between peo
ple of a certain age when then see, hear or experience art, music, dj's, pictures, videos from that formative ten year period of 1988-1998. We'll hopefully experience some of this feeling in the future via the joy of some of our favourite local dj's and their personal vinyl back catalogue where most importantly we'll have the chance catch up with old and new friends in a Tamworth venues. Our aim is to create a community with an old school spirit of friendship based on shared experiences and knowledge. This is a good natured and good spirited page, so let's all respect each other, we're one family! We're not going to get hung up on genre's, if it sounds good and it's from our era whether it be House, funk, soul, techno, breakbeat, hip hop etc.. its all good and it all can be found at the Social!! Nobody wants nothing from the social except some great art, culture and music along with shared memories and the kind of special friendship that we the love generation do best. This is a stress free zone so you can escape and forget about the rest of the world and find those good vibes again for a moment. Peace brothers and sisters!
