One Last Wine!

We thought with our closing day approaching, we would do one last wine night! The date, Thursday 17th of September. The time, 7pm. The price, £35pp

This one’s going to be a little different. Chris & Becca will walk you through 4 wines on the night with the final drink being a wine based cocktail made by Chris, exclusively for the event! We will also be pairing each wine with some cheese and nibbles for a nice laid back night.

Like previous wine nights, we will have limited numbers so once we’re fully booked we’re fully booked! Just give us a message or email us at [email protected] to book your space/spaces.

Sun, summer, cocktails and a bank holiday on the door step! Now’s the perfect time to get you in the mood for cocktails.

You can find the full range of cocktails at our shop in amble, online and at retailers across the uk. If you’re thinking of grabbing something over the bank holiday weekend. We will have the shop & bar open on Friday from 3-9pm then we will be at forage lifestyle Summer Market on Saturday and Sunday at Rigg & Furrow.

Hummingbird Amble Update: Please Read.

It’s crazy to think we started chapter 3 two years ago and it’s more crazy to think that we’ve been open in the new site for 20 months and we’ve changed the cocktail menu over 100 times (much to the dismay of Becca).

But as the business grows, we’ve had to make the decision to close Hummingbird Amble from the end of September. With Grounded moving production sites and the business focusing more on being a drinks brand than a hospitality brand, we had to make a tough decision but it’s the right one.

There’s nothing negative going on, just with Hummingbird Drinks now growing into a national brand, our time needs to be focused on that side of the business! But this isn’t the last time you will see us!! Due to us not being tied to the bar, expect more pop ups, events and takeovers. Both in Amble and further afield! So you’re not getting rid of us…. Not even slightly!

Get the 26th of September in your diary for our closing party! Music, more seats, food from Copper Rice Box and some cocktails from the past, present and future!

Slight change of plans for this weekend.

We will sadly be closed tonight due to some unforeseen circumstances and we’ve got some heavy prep needed for this weekends event up at Ad Gefrin.

You will find us with all the other stalls selling our range of bottled cocktails, Grounded and we’ll have a cocktail bar on the go too!

Apologies on the inconvenience for this evening and we’ll be back open as usual next weekend.

Next two Summer Sessions are coming in August!

Saturday 15th of August we have The Rothbury Food Truck here with their amazing seafood and Fish & Chips with some exciting cocktails a little different to the norm!

Friday 21st of August we have some of the best wood fired pizzas from the team Trigo Wood Fired Pizza with a special Spritz menu available on the night!

After the mind blowing success of Julys summer session we are looking at more seating option for outside!

Well tonight was amazing! Massive thank you to everyone who came along for drinks, food and the sun!

Another massive thank you to everyone on their patience too! Chris was rattling out cocktails non stop for hours and is super grateful for the people who rolled their sleeves up and jumped in to help! It got a little chaotic at one point!

Bit of an update on Saturdays opening hours though, we will only be open 12-4pm as we’ve been pretty much drank dry!

Next Espresso martini run club will be at Real Fitness on the 30th of July, to go along for their summer social!

On top of espresso martinis, we’ll have a range of other cocktails, beers and soft drinks. We’ll have the bar set up from 6:30pm and if you want to come along for the run and see what the team do at the gym, pop in a little earlier to check it out.

Drop us or Real Fitness a DM if you have any questions. We’ll be announcing the third run soon for August too! And we might be planning another one, somewhere a little different!
