Thank you, Aberystwyth and beyond, for what has been an incredible first year for this little bar. Every positive comment, casual recommendation and good review has not gone unnoticed and are so so appreciated. 💖

And look at these pictures! We rather feel we’ve had a glow up 🥰

From hosting ttrpg nights and our staff Mix of the Month competition, to working with the National Library of Wales and the sudden appearance of a piano, we’ve had a great 12 months and look forward to many, many more.

New Month, New Mix! 💜

Now, hear us out: Violet is a divisive flavour, we know, but even if you’re the sort to leave the parma violets to the end of the bag, this delicious cocktail is still worth a go!
Hailing from the genius vision of our own Tatum, the Heart of Violet combines gin, violet liqueur, blackberry and sherbet to creat a lightly sweet, beautifully balanced drink that’ll subvert expectations! 💜

New Month, New Mix!

Created by our own Tatum and inspired by the current Zodiac sign of Scorpio, Love Deeper Than The Ocean writes a love letter to ginger!
Iconic Havana 3yr, warming ginger liqueur, and bright creme de mure build the foundations for this smooth and wintery highball. Vanilla shines through the bubbles, and squid ink gives a subtle salinity - and makes it look awesome in inky black! 🏴‍☠️

As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter, we turn to tea! ☕️

Built on the wildly popular combination of gin, enderflower and black pepper which made up the Flora & Fauna (wow - remember that drink?!), the Verdance levels the game up by adding a dash of maraschino and infusing the gin with the wonderful warming notes of rooibos tea 🫖
