Serpent À Plume turns 8 this Thursday !

8 years of unreason.
8 years of bright ideas and relentless adventure at Serpent A Plume.

In Chinese culture, 8 is the number of fortune, abundance, expansion, and prosperity. Cesio the cat, our banker and money laundering expert says that a fat stack and a bag full contraband and gunpowder is on the horizon.

To our team, and to everyone who made these past eight years not only possible but especially memorable — thank you.

We have a stacked lineup, and a bag stacks on the horizon. We also have free drinks and drink specials if you arrive before 22h00 just to name a few of the surprises that Cesio the cat has landed us.

The wait is over.. After nearly two months of renovations our restaurant and terrace are back open for the two year anniversary of .orchestra

A new bar, some wood, some paintings, and an updated menu where necessary face lifts for the the summer. There are still slight cosmetic adjustments that will take a few weeks before we are fully back to normal but for now you can come back and sin.

A long overdue thank you, and with immense gratitude to everyone who came to the screening of Season VII « Theater Kids » . . A filmed musical that was shown on February 26th on the big screen of Le Champo.

This project is a love letter to musical theater, looning parties, and our mischievous narration of the restaurant world.

The online premiere of Season VII will be viewable on our YouTube channel, this Saturday the 25th of April.

What is going on with the Serpent A Plume weekly program? ...In the zone, under the radar, and off the grid...

Was this the year one of us developed a p*e p*e fe**sh? Perhaps. But more importantly, we’ve got the fuzz on our backs and a need time to lay low.
The ongoing renovations in the restaurant are a cosmetic recalibration. A slight touch of maintenance after eight years of bright ideas and relentless adventure was a necessary step toward tightening the ship and giving the serpent a new skin.

If you’re reading this and count yourself among the cult of Serpent A Plume, you already know how it works. Signals of events will surface from time to time. Jazz is always on the same days, but the truth is always simpler than any announcement: the only way to understand what’s happening is to just step inside.

Our restaurant on the ground floor will re open for business on April 20th, and for now the bar is open with our normal operating hours, including the that ends on the 11th of April on the ground floor.

We’re easing off the usual program postings for now, there is less noise and more of a focus on our creative projects side projects.
