Octan is the fever, that Saturday night fever, cycling every eight days like an infinite loop of passion and desire. A passion for music, for dancing with strangers, for getting lost on the dance floor, lost in a moment, lost in the heat of the night.Octan is a disco ode to all the dancing queens, the movers and the shakers, the late night dreamers and to all of those who come to be scene and not seen. Octan is the fever.

Octan Malaga sits below the glass pyramids of a purpose build club born in the golden era of discotheques. Standing on the expansive rectangular dance floor surrounded by hanging balconies, watching the sunlight pour through Octans geometric skylights it’s easy to draw parallels with the theatre of Amnesia terrace. Off the main dance floor the club splits into two levels, opening into different areas of the club, the capacious space of the terrace converge into low ceiling basements and intimate attic bars.

Octan began the refurbishment of the club in 2018, bringing the venue back to life, restoring the historic clubs key features and mindfully remodelling the venue in the contemporary aesthetic Octans club vision. In summer the club is host to Torremolinos’s vibrant gay scene, in winter it is one of the Costa Del Sol’s leading electronic music venues, showcasing international artists like Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers and me alongside the underground heros emerging from the regions local scenes.
