Alvaro Cabana has been a defining figure in Madrid’s electronic music scene since the late 1990s. Through residencies at clubs such as Coppelia, Mondo and Sport, as well as appearances at major festivals, he has played a key role in shaping Spain’s club culture over the past two decades.
Known for his versatility, his sets move seamlessly between arpeggiated disco, house, cosmic sounds, cold wave and neo-trance. Since 2015, he has also run Rotten City Files, a label focused on crossing genres and boundaries. His productions have been released on labels including Pets, Duro and Ombra International.
