LASTER MIX #033 · P.E.A.R.L. & PHASE FATALE

Two different paths into techno, connected by a shared attention to precision, rhythm and the darker edges of the club.

P.E.A.R.L. has built his language between Spain and Berlin, where he founded Falling Ethics Records. Phase Fatale, the project of Hayden Payne, approaches techno through industrial electronics, EBM and post-punk references, extending that vision through his BITE label and years behind the decks at Berghain and Khidi.

For this all night long, both had the time to let the room develop at its own pace. Their different approaches met gradually across the night, shifting the intensity without breaking the thread between them.

MARRØN llega a Madrid para abrir la sexta temporada de Laster Club.

Cofundador y residente de Eerste Communie, ha construido su camino desde una idea clara de pista: comunidad, ritmo y continuidad.

Antes del techno, su vínculo con el Afro Deep marcó una forma de entender la percusión y el movimiento. Esa raíz sigue presente en sus sets, donde la presión se desarrolla sin necesidad de exceso.

El 05.09.26 abrimos una nueva temporada bajo la luz roja con un artista que entiende el club como espacio de conexión y lenguaje común.

Due to new restrictions from the local authorities affecting 8 Marvila, the venue is no longer able to host our event.
Not a change we wanted to make, especially this close to the date. But the night remains.

Berlin has never been just another stop for LASTER.
Over the years, RSO has become a place where our sound, our residents and many of the artists who are part of our extended family have found a home under the red light.

After three events together, countless hours on the dancefloor and many shared experiences, our relationship with RSO has grown with every return to Berlin.
This weekend, we take it one step further.

For the first time, LASTER will take over RSO for 33 hours together, from Saturday 29 August until Monday morning.
33 hours bringing together our residents, regular artists and new artists who keep the sound and identity of LASTER.

Madrid to Berlin.

LASTER MIX #032 · ORBE & PSYK

ORBE and Psyk come from two different points of the Spanish techno map, but share an approach built around reduction, control and detail. ORBE, the project of Algeciras-born Fernando Sanz, has developed his own line through Orbe Records, while Madrid-born Manuel Anós has shaped Psyk alongside his label Non Series.

Repetition sits at the core of both languages. ORBE pushes it towards reduced, persistent loops; Psyk gives it more movement, working around the groove without losing control.

In a B2B, those two languages meet through drums, low-end and restraint. No need for excess: the movement comes from small changes, locked rhythm and the space left between them.
