Mastering is so much more than slapping a few plugins on the mixbus and call it a day. And it’s definitely a lot more than putting your mix through an online mastering tool.

You want your music to sound alive, vibrant, energetic, moving, deep. You want to really feel the music. Engage with it on an energetic and maybe even spiritual level. That’s what makes the difference between a ‘good’ mix and a hit record.

Analog mastering is a great way to bring life, depth and energy to a static and flat sounding in-the-box mix. Even without using any EQ or compression settings, just letting the mix pass trough the electrical circuit of tubes, transistors and transformers can be a massive difference compared to the zeros and ones of digital computing.
