One year ago, Paula joined the Adrianos team.
And it didn’t take long before she earned a nickname that has stuck ever since…
The Romanian Rocket. 🚀🇷🇴
If you’ve ever watched Paula working during a busy service, you’ll understand exactly why.
Energy, speed, determination and an incredible work ethic. Paula seems to be everywhere at once. Taking orders, running drinks, delivering food, clearing tables, looking after guests and somehow already spotting the next thing that needs doing before anyone else has noticed it.
She is a true Adrianos all-rounder.
Paula is loyal, hardworking and incredibly dependable. When things get busy, she is exactly the sort of person you want alongside you.
She has also become well known for looking after our guests, remembering people and bringing plenty of personality to the floor.
And then, of course, there is Paula’s legendary…
“I don’t know.”
Those three simple words somehow come out sounding like they’ve been delivered by a very posh English lady from another century. 😂
If you know Paula, you’ll know exactly what we mean.
Over the last year, the relationship has grown far beyond simply being employer and employee. Paula is someone Dawn and John trust enormously and, most importantly, she has become very much part of the Adrianos family.
Today we had the pleasure of presenting Paula with her official Adrianos 1 Year Pin, along with some flowers and another little gift from us to say thank you for everything she has done during her first year.
And if you’re wondering what happens to the Romanian Rocket when she finally stops moving…
You’ll probably find her somewhere with her husband Jason, eating a curry and sharing a bottle of wine. 🍛🍷😂

Y no tardó mucho en ganarse un apodo que se ha quedado con nosotros desde entonces…
El Cohete Rumano. 🚀🇷🇴
Si alguna vez habéis visto a Paula trabajando durante un servicio con mucho movimiento, entenderéis perfectamente por qué.
Energía, velocidad, determinación y una ética de trabajo increíble. Paula parece estar en todas partes al mismo tiempo. Tomando pedidos, sirviendo bebidas, llevando comida, recogiendo mesas, atendiendo a nuestros clientes y, de alguna manera, detectando lo siguiente que hay que hacer antes de que nadie más se haya dado cuenta.
Paula es una auténtica todoterreno de Adrianos.
Es leal, trabajadora e increíblemente responsable. Cuando las cosas se ponen realmente ocupadas, es exactamente el tipo de persona que quieres tener a tu lado.
También se ha hecho muy conocida por cuidar de nuestros clientes, recordar a la gente y aportar muchísima personalidad al servicio.
Y, por supuesto, está el ya legendario…
“I don’t know.”
Tres simples palabras que, cuando las dice Paula, inexplicablemente suenan como si las hubiera pronunciado una elegantísima dama inglesa de otra época. 😂

Durante este último año, nuestra relación ha ido mucho más allá de ser simplemente empleadores y empleada. Paula es alguien en quien Dawn y John confían enormemente y, lo más importante, se ha convertido en una parte muy especial de la familia Adrianos.
Hoy tuvimos el placer de entregarle a Paula su Pin Oficial de Adrianos por su Primer Año, junto con unas flores y otro pequeño regalo de nuestra parte para agradecerle todo lo que ha hecho durante estos primeros doce meses.
Y si alguna vez os preguntáis qué hace el Cohete Rumano cuando finalmente deja de moverse…
